Welcome Message
Welcome to our small, friendly and inclusive school. Our school motto is "Together We Can..." and together we work hard to make Little Weighton Rowley Primary a happy, exciting place where everyone has high expectations of themselves and each other.
We aim to give every child the best start in life, ensuring that our children’s learning journey provides them with strong building blocks for the future and the confidence to take the next steps in their education when they leave us in Year 6.
Our curriculum embraces our role as a school in a small rural community, whilst also providing a wide range of opportunities for children to learn about the world beyond Little Weighton. It values children having opportunities to develop their interpersonal and social communication skills alongside the acquisition of knowledge, understanding and skills within identified subjects.
We are proud to be at the heart of the local community and the children enjoy taking part in a range of events and activities, recognising that they play an important role in the village.
We are keen to forge strong links between home and school and recognise that parents and carers have a crucial role to play in the education of their child. We always aim to keep parents informed and involved with what is going on in school through newsletters, the website and our school messaging system.
I hope you enjoy exploring our website (the ‘Pupil’ and ‘Gallery’ sections provide lots of photographs of school life). Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information. Visits to our school are always welcome.

Our School Vision
The staff and governors of Little Weighton, Rowley C.E. Primary School aim to provide a caring, happy and creative learning environment, in which each child can be the best they can be. As a church school our vision is rooted in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14;
'Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.'
This acknowledges the Christian foundations of our school.
"Together we can..."
Believe: Hold tight to our convictions.
Achieve: Give it all we’ve got.
Belong: Love without stopping.
