What is P.E. and Sports Premium Grant?
At Little Weighton Rowley Primary School we recognise the contribution of PE to the health and well-being of the children. We believe that a varied PE curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities have a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and achievement of all our children.
The Sports Premium Grant is additional funding from the Government to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. It is also for improving the health and wellbeing of primary pupils. The money can only be spent on improving pupils’ sport, PE or health and wellbeing.
