Together We Can...

2020 to 2021

Welcome to our gallery of photos. The photos in the gallery tend to be of whole school events. Please see class pages for more photos of your children taking part in class based activities.

Whole School Trip Summer 2021

We all set out with our buckets and spades to the beach for our whole school trip. There was lots of chatter on the bus on the way before first heading to the rocky beach, where we did lots of digging, collecting things and building sculptures. Next stop was the sandy beach where the wind didn't stop us. After our picnics we splashed in the water, build sandcastles and buried each other. Just time for an ice cream before we headed home. Lots of happy (and tired) children!

Sports Day 2021

The sun shone and the spirits were high. All the children showed great sportsmanship throughout the day and we had a great time - potato races, egg and spoon, skipping, running, novelty race, relay and a firm favourite, the sack race. This year Discovery (green) team were the winners, although it was a closely fought competition. What a great day!

Dig-it Day - April 2021

The children have been busy weeding and tidying up the school grounds. They then planted lettuces, potatoes, strawberries and wild flower seeds. After all our hard work, the teachers said we'd earned a drink and a biscuit.

The Easter Bunny - March 2021

Mrs Atkinson got a really big shock on the last Friday of term - she looked out of the office window and saw the Easter Bunny hopping up the drive! She said she'd come to visit the children. She hopped around and knocked on the classroom windows and then she went and had a play on our outside apparatus. It was very exciting! What was even more exciting was that when the Easter Bunny had left, we realised that she'd filled all our Easter baskets with chocolate eggs!

Sport Relief - March 2021

The children enjoyed taking part in our Sport Relief Day. We came to school in our own clothes (something red if we had it!) and took part in lots of 'Sport Relief' themed activities. The theme was superpowers so we thought about what our superpowers would be, we had a joke competition and then in the afternoon we had a inter-house sports competition (in our bubbles). We took part in lots of races, including a fancy dress one, where we had to make a face using the PE equipment! We managed to raise £70 for Sport Relief - thank you to everyone for their donations!

Father Christmas Came to Visit - December 2020

Father Christmas came to visit us at school. He was sitting in the outdoor classroom when we went out to play. What a lovely surprise! He said that we'd all been good this year and asked us what was on our Christmas lists. He said the elves were really busy at the North Pole getting everyone's presents ready!

Christmas Lunch and Christmas Parties - December 2020

We enjoyed our Christmas dinner - thank you to Westfield Kitchen - we think it was the tasty one yet! We have also enjoyed our party days this week! It's surprising how hungry dancing and party games can make you! We all managed to eat our school lunches and then our party picnics too!

Children in Need - November 2020

We had a 'non uniform' day to raise money for Children in Need. We took part in some different activities in our bubbles. We made hats, had a coloring competition, undertook some Pudsey themed challenges and decorated some Pudsey cookies that Mrs Atkinson had baked for us. We raised £78.33 - thank you to everyone for their donations.
